Our mission The mission of the GEMS program is to empower young women by providing positive mentoring relationships, helping them discover their talents, learn new skills and experience successes through social, emotional, and career development; Ultimately, preparing them for the real world.
The program exposes middle school aged girls to a variety of careers through monthly meetings and sessions with working women. GEMS take several trips to College and university campuses and learn that the decisions they make today will impact their journey to college or elsewhere.
